Early 2016 I spent a month in the north of Iceland, part of an Art Residency.
The possibility to visit such a remote place inspired me to explore Nature to its core.
Mainly formed by volcanic activity Iceland presents Nature's roughest side in the most beautiful way possible.
Although being surrounded by breathtaking landscapes I chose to shift my focus to the almost faint details around me. Sometimes we have to look closely to see the beauty of the smalls things.
In this series I used Mamiya 7II camera and Velvia 50, Velvia 100 and Fuji 400H.
